What we are and aren't

Dubuque Basement Waterproofing is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Iowa requires contractors who earn at least $2,000 a year from construction work to register with the Iowa Division of Labor, and out-of-state contractors must also carry a $25,000 bond. Look the company up in the state's contractor registration database, get the scope and price in writing, and ask whether the City of Dubuque or your own town needs a permit for any plumbing, electrical or structural part of the job.
